The mission of the Hadden Family Foundation is to promote youth education and development, driven through the creation and funding of grassroots programs in underserved and disadvantaged communities in the Greater Toronto Area and across Canada.
In our foundation's 20 years of operation, we have created and funded programs serving tens of thousands of students in Toronto and across Canada, primarily through our annual Grey Cup party.
The Hadden Family Foundation is pleased to announce another successful year in 2021. Our Feeding Hungry Minds school breakfast and nutrition program is now entering its tenth year and we have recently added more schools to our roster, increasing our reach to 100 schools in disadvantaged communities across Toronto. Last year we served meals to 38,000 students.
In addition to continuing Feeding Hungry Minds, this year we are again continuing our partnership with the Toronto District School Board in supporting "Beyond 3:30" afterschool programs, increasing our existing effort in Toronto's underserved communities. Beyond 3:30 will serve several hundred students per day, giving them a safe place to go after school where they can eat a snack, do homework and engage in fitness activities in a teacher supervised environment.
